Welcome to Pilates With Jenna – Watford!

Welcome to Pilates With Jenna – Watford, your local space for movement, balance and strength.
If you live in or around Watford and are looking to feel fitter, move more freely, and reconnect with your body, Pilates is one of the most effective and enjoyable ways to do it.

I’m Jenna, a fully qualified Pilates instructor with a deep passion for helping people move better, feel stronger, and live with less pain or tension. Through a combination of mindful movement, core strengthening and improved posture, my Watford Pilates classes are designed to meet you exactly where you are — whether you’re a complete beginner, returning after injury, or already familiar with Pilates.

At Pilates With Jenna, sessions are welcoming, supportive and inclusive. You’ll learn to build strength from the inside out, improve flexibility and control, and find calm through focused breath and movement. Every class is carefully structured so that you leave feeling taller, lighter, and more energised.

My approach blends traditional Pilates principles with modern techniques that focus on real-life functionality — so the benefits go far beyond the mat. Clients often tell me they notice a difference not just in how they move, but in how they feel day to day — from reduced back and neck pain to better posture, improved confidence, and a genuine sense of wellbeing.

If you’re based in Watford, Bushey, Rickmansworth, Croxley Green, or the surrounding Hertfordshire areas, you can join me for group classes or private sessions.

FAQ's

Could I visit your Pilates studio in Watford?

At the moment, my main Pilates studio isn’t based directly in Watford — it’s located just a short drive away in Apsley, Hemel Hempstead (102 London Road, HP3 9SD).
Many of my Watford clients choose to visit me there because it’s only around 10–15 minutes from Watford, with easy access via the A41 or A4251 and plenty of nearby parking.

So while I don’t currently have a physical studio in Watford itself, I do teach and support a growing community of Watford-based clients who travel to me in Apsley to enjoy the same tailored, mindful Pilates experience.

Do I need any experience in Pilates?

No — beginners are welcome. I’ll guide you gently, starting with foundational movements and building as you’re ready.

Do I need my own equipment?

For mat classes, a yoga or Pilates mat is sufficient (some basic props like blocks or bands may be provided or recommended). For reformer work, I’ll share details when booking your session.

What should I wear / bring?

Wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows movement (leggings, fitted top). Bring a water bottle and your mat if needed.

What if I have injuries or pregnancy?

I welcome clients with past injuries, chronic pain or prenatal/postnatal needs. I adapt every exercise to ensure safety and gradual progress.

How do I sign up for one of your wellness retreats?

You can find all the latest details and upcoming dates for my Pilates and wellness retreats on the Retreats page.
Each retreat offers a chance to slow down, reset, and immerse yourself in mindful movement, nourishing food, and peaceful surroundings.
Spaces are limited, so I recommend registering your interest early using the contact form on that page — I’ll then be in touch with full booking information, travel details, and what to expect from the weekend.
Many of my Watford clients enjoy combining regular Pilates classes with these retreats as a deeper way to connect with their practice and self-care routine.

How do I know if I’m a beginner or intermediate in Pilates?

If you’ve taken just a few Pilates classes — or it’s been a while since your last one — you’ll likely fit best in the beginner to improver range.
In my classes, the focus isn’t on labels but on meeting your body where it is. I always offer progressions and modifications so you can safely move at your own pace, whether you’re brand new or have a bit of experience.
During your first session, I’ll chat with you about your background and guide you toward the class level that feels both challenging and achievable. Over time, you’ll naturally build strength, control, and confidence — and I’ll help you transition into more intermediate work when you’re ready.
